Updated June 24: see https://www.engl.co.uk/Products/ImagingToolkit/Compatibility We now support the May 2016 Imaging Update with Imaging Toolkit 10.0.3 - see ENGL Imaging Toolkit 10.0.3 now available!

Micro Focus have released ZCM 11.4.2 which is available as an update for ZCM 11.4.1 and 11.4.0. We have finished performing our compatibility testing with ZCM 11.4.2 in our labs, and are happy to announce support for ZCM 11.4.2 from today, June 3rd 2016. If you do a "Check for Updates" (Help > Check for Updates) in Build Console, then you should be able to select "ZENworks 11 Configuration Management SP4 (11.4.2)" for the Desktop Management Solution.

ZCM 11.4.2 fixes several bugs, especially some that affect agent initialisation time, and we hope this will cure the problems that several customers have seen with not being able to register the ZCM agent without having to add a large delay, and also a possible cause of a problem with the agent not picking up the correct bundles for deployment.

The May 2016 Imaging Update for 11.4.x has also been released which contains a brand-new Linux kernel based on SLES 12, which supports NVMe drives

I'm sure you have seen Steve Thompson's blog showing how ENGL Imaging Toolkit 10.0.2 can help tidy up the Windows Start Menu.

This blog will take the process a step further and show you how you can use PowerShell and Imaging Toolkit 10.0.2 to control what appears on the Windows 10 start menu.

Our scenario for this blog is that we want to select which apps are displayed on the start menu from the Zim menu at the point of imaging.
